The post below is my powerpoint evaluation. I presented this in front of the class and was told i recieved 18 marks for it which is an A. I am really pleased with this. I enjoyed making the powerpoint and would have much preffered to do my evaluation this way rather than an essay. I feel my powerpoint contains a lot of information and detail. It coveres many aspects of the criteria.
Next time, i will make more of an effort to speak to and face my audience rather than read off the screen.

here i have included a sketch for the front cover and a writted pitch of ideas table for my magazine.
the image on the sketch will probably end up not matching my final image but i have grasped the idea of how a typical music magazine front ocver should appear and from this sketch i can work toward the final product.

24th february

Today i researched different fonts for the front cover. i took these fonts from the website: dafont.
TILEZ: i liked this font as it has been created in the style of scrabble pieces. however as much as this font looks visually attractive i feel it would look slighlty out of place as a font for the title and it would definately draw attention away from the image.
RITA: this font almost looked electronic and "buzzing" and that is why i felt it wopuld be an appropriate font to use for an electro magazine. however it does apear vaguely hazy and not as bold as i would like.
NEXT: i liked this font for its effortless feel however this font would definately look out of place on an electro magazine cover if not any magazine cover.
BIRTH OF A HERO: i really like this font. it is bold yet has an egdy feel to it promoting an unperfect edgy feel. i feel this font is bold and powerful enough to work as an effective font for the title of a magazine.
TRASHCO: i was instantly drawn to this font. i think it is very visually attractive and fun however, i dont think it is well suited for a magazine cover despite the fact i think it would fit an electro themed genre. i found the font too complicated and like the tilez font, i think it would take alot of attention away from the main image and other elements of the front cover.
TECHNO: i think this is perhaps the most suitable font for an electro magazine. however as a front cover title font i'm not sure about it because its too spaced out and slightly to robotic.
